Originally acquired to be an executive golf course, the property has been left in its natural state over the last 20 years. During this period, the public has been allowed access for hiking, biking, dog walking, and trail running – though the property is private.
In 2019, La Plata Communities, LLC, a master planned community developer, and Grand Junction Land Company, LLC, the owner of the land, joined together to form Redlands Three Sixty, LLC, which will be the developer of the property. La Plata is currently in the planning process with the City of Grand Junction, which will include the approval of a Metropolitan District, and an Outline Development Plan (ODP) for Redlands 360.
